Solid Modeler and CNC programmer

2 Positions open, looking to fill 1 immediate, one by end of June 08.

Corinthian Cast Stone Inc is a architectural components manufacturer. We are looking for a strong 3D modeler who knows (or wants to learn) how to program 3 and 5 axis routers.

Our current machinery inventory includes:
3 axis – 5’-10’ x 1’ z router
5 axis – 5’ – 10’ x 3’z router
Faro Photon Laser Scanner

You must have experience with the following software:
Rhino or Solidworks, AutoCAD
Other software we use:
AutoDesk Inventor, Geomagic, MasterCam, ArtCam, Pointools

Your tasks will include: creating 3d models in Rhino or other solid modeling programs from our 2d drawing files. We will teach you how to cut these models on our cnc machines. The parts you model and cut will be assembled in our mfg plant.

Salary is commensurate with your experience. Overtime is required dependent upon production schedules. We offer retirement, medical, and the chance to improve your skill-set while making a valuable contribution to our team.

CAD Drafter

Well established Communications Consulting Firm has an immediate need for an experienced CAD Drafter. We have enough work for a full time position, but part time workers will be considered.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
• As assigned by Project Manager, manage some
aspects of a client project/relationship
including technology consulting, design
and project management.
• Perform AutoCAD and Visio functions
• Provide high level of Drawing support and
deliverables to all staff.
• Consistently provide high quality
deliverables
• Meet and/or exceed expectation of Project
Managers
• Provide an effective check-and-balance for
design work
• Maintain detailed client drawing files
• Maintains supplies and equipment
• Work effectively within a team environment,
regardless of project assignment.
• Accurately report and track time billed to
client projects
• Project responsibility and reporting is d
irect to Project Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• Expert knowledge of AutoCAD, preferably 3-5
years experience
• Computer skills:
• Mid-level at Excel
• High Level at Visio
• Proficient at Word
• Excellent organizational skills
• Communicate effectively with multiple
levels of staff and vendors
